Spartina AI is dedicated to augmenting human intelligence to solve the world’s greatest challenges. The company’s roots go back to 2010, when Josh Miles founded MyCom, a digital agency based on the West Coast. MyCom started in online marketing, just as social media was revolutionizing digital storytelling.

In the beginning, the company focused on content creation, application development, and social media awareness campaigns. Over time, the focus tightened to providing social media ad development, campaign management, and consulting on how to bolster conversions for sales and lead generation. Core industries served included healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, and logistics.

During the 13-year engagement, MyCom successfully established social recruitment as a core channel for AMN Healthcare, the nation’s largest healthcare staffing agency. The business also developed an application that helped Subway, the world’s largest fast-food chain, successfully engage with hundreds of thousands of customers and potential franchisees. In that project, MyCom provided technical support and content development in partnership with YSN, an influencer-based agency. We achieved this by using gamification and influencers to drive significant increases in inquiries about opening new franchises.

MyCom was reborn as Spartina AI in 2026 to focus on using artificial intelligence to augment and exponentially uplevel human potential.
